Some karaoke nights feel like a contest. Ours feels like a neighborhood bar with a microphone.
Every Monday and Thursday night, karaoke at The Pond brings together regulars, first-timers, good singers, bad singers, and plenty of people who swore they weren't going to sing — right up until somebody hands them the mic.
Graham hosts karaoke from 7 PM until midnight, and there's no cover. Pick a song, grab a cold drink, and get up there when your name is called.
Karaoke Without the Pressure
You don't have to be a great singer to sing at The Pond. That's kind of the point.
Some people can flat-out sing. Some can't. Nobody cares.
The best karaoke nights aren't measured by perfect notes. They're measured by the songs you're still talking about on the way home.
That's the atmosphere we've tried to keep at The Pond since we opened in 2005: good drinks, real people, no fuss.
Monday and Thursday Nights in Franklin
Karaoke happens every Monday and Thursday from 7 PM until midnight.
Monday night includes our domestic beer specials, and Thursday is Ladies Night with 2-for-1 wine after 7 PM.
And when karaoke ends at midnight, the night doesn't have to. The Pond stays open late, with last call at 2:30 AM and closing at 3 AM.
Franklin's Original Neighborhood Dive Bar
The Pond isn't a polished karaoke lounge, and we're not trying to be one.
We're Franklin's original neighborhood dive bar — a 21-and-over place where you can come as you are, have a cold beer or cocktail, grab some bar food, sit out on the patio, meet some locals, and maybe sing a song before the night's over.
