We want everyone to be able to use this website and to enjoy a visit to The Pond. Here’s what we’ve done, and how to reach us if something isn’t working for you.
This website
This site is built with accessibility in mind, aiming for WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That includes:
- Strong colour contrast on all text and buttons, so they’re easy to read.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus outline and no dead ends.
- Descriptive text on every photograph, for anyone using a screen reader.
- Clear headings and page structure throughout.
- Large, easy-to-tap buttons, especially the call and directions buttons on mobile.
- Minimal animation, and none at all if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Support for pinch-to-zoom and browser text resizing.
Getting into The Pond
Accessible parking is available near the entrance. The Pond has a step-free entrance, and an accessible restroom is available inside. If you need assistance during your visit, please ask a member of our staff and we’ll be happy to help.
